Eddie has been providing music enrichment and education for over a decade. In addition to operating a private studio out of Brooklyn and Manhattan, Eddie works with local nonprofits offering optimized instruction and curriculum to schools and groups of under-served youth throughout the tristate. With an early background in classical, jazz and improvisational piano, a BA in music and audio technology, and years of professional composition experience, Eddie delivers unique perspective, passion, and comprehensive music literacy to students of all ages. As a multi-instrumentalist and audio producer, Eddie guides beginner and intermediate skill levels through the joys of piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, voice, theory, ear training, music writing, recording and mixing, as well as software like Garageband, Logic and Protools.

To that end, I instill in my students a strong foundation of theory on which to cultivate and support their own, organic musical interests, which I then use as foundation to introduce more theoretical concepts. New students start with an initial assessment class for me to gauge musical knowledge, ability and curiosities, and quickly begin understanding and communicating musically. Through the use of games, practice techniques, song learning, analysis and performance, students quickly develop dexterity of body and mind, as well as skills to read, improvise, create, perform, and even record their own original music. My goal as a teacher is to give my students the inspiration and tools necessary to pursue their own musical love as quickly as possible, and my greatest joy is watching them find it."

Cancellation Policy​ - 48 hour notice.

Issues and sudden illness requiring last minute cancellation is inevitable. I ask for full payment as respect for time booked, and try to offer opportunities to make up for lost time whenever possible. Students with regular cancellations will risk forfeiting their time slot. Thank you for your cooperation.
